The Ramage Law Group Awards $1,000 Through its Adopted Child Scholarship for Spring 2025

The Ramage Law Group is thrilled to name the newest winner of its Adopted Child Scholarship. For the Spring 2025 semester, founding attorney Sharon Ramage has selected college sophomore Angelina Sanchez as the latest recipient of the biannual scholarship. Attorney Ramage’s connection with adopted children, both in the courtroom and with two adopted daughters of her own, inspired her to establish a meaningful program that provides opportunities for children in similar situations who are pursuing college degrees.

Angelina Sanchez is in her second year of college at the University of Texas at Dallas. With ambitions of one day working with Child Protective Services, Angelina is double majoring in Psychology and Business. After being adopted at age 7, Angelina watched her adoptive mother make significant sacrifices to set her and her siblings up for success. Crediting her mother’s patience and dedication, Angelina excelled at academics and athletics from a young age. Her desire to work with children as a long-term career and one day foster children herself was greatly inspired by her mother’s efforts and her positive experience of being adopted.

The Ramage Law Group Adopted Child Scholarship was established in the fall of 2022, and since then, the firm has awarded five college students with scholarship awards of $1,000. The program is currently accepting applications for the Fall 2025 scholarship from students who are currently enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students within the United States. Applicants must have been legally adopted by one or both of their parents. To apply, students are asked to submit their contact information, proof of enrollment, and an essay of approximately 800 words.
